I think there is a solution - if your dad will use it.

hard of hearing". I bought a set of "SuperEar Personal Sound Amplifier" for
Dennis for his birthday. But, he won't/doesn't use them. I suspect your dad
will probably be the same - hard-of-hearing and hard-headed both.

That's handy. I don't know much except basic signs. Mostly involving a single
finger - or two with the other hand's thumb and forefinger at the mouth
preparatory to blowing a raspberry.

Campbell's is about the only cream-of-mushroom soup that I get along with. The
others have an "off" taste to me. Some from curry, some from cumin (I dunno
what they were thinking), others are waaaaay too salty. Heck, Campbell's is
borderline too salty to start with. Anyway, Progresso, Wolfgang Puck, Nalley's
are OK on some things. But Campbell's C-O-M is my default. And Bookbinder's
Clam Chowder. Oh, heck - we could do a whole (large/long) thread on canned
and/or home-made soups.

      Title: Raspberry Rascal
 Categories: Five, Fruits, Beverages
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      1 c  Raspberries
      1 c  Fresh Pineapple
      2 c  Cold water
           Honey
 
  Whirl raspberries and pineapple in blender. Add water
  and honey to taste. Whirl again. Strain. Garnish with
  small piece of pineapple.
  
  MAKES: 4 Servings
