Well said, though there are many who spend their entire
lives in a very circumscribed space for the sake of that
worrisomeness.

We were talking about places to go to satisfy our mileage
requirements, and I got an e-mail with that as the title,
spelled Loo-ee.

The TSA is a singularly American institution and devoted
as much to preserving capitalism as preserving well-being,
and the philosophy is, you paid for it, you get to use it.
Fair enough.

I will first pursue the sensible avenue. As my friend Alex
once said to a ticket counter agent, "do you want to do this
the easy way or the hard way?"

Actually, thinking at all is a negligible part of it. It
may resemble thinking, and you may think you're thinking,
but in fact it's just the brain going round in circles,
gradually spiralling downward.

The power of the tourist dollar, I figure. There are still
plenty of places to smoke, but there are now plenty of
smoke-free ones as well. It is easy in climates like the
Mediterranean and the southeast Asian to get people to comply.

MMMMM----- Meal Master Recipe

      Title: Shirini (Kurdish Pumpkin Dessert) - GF
 Categories: Squash, Nuts
      Yield: 6 Servings

    1/4 c  Honey
      1 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Water
      3 c  Fresh pumpkin; peeled, slice
           -1 1/2" thick
    3/4 c  Walnuts; fine chopped
           Cinnamon

  Combine honey, sugar and water in a large saucepan; mix
  well. Simmer for 10 min or longer until thick and
  syrupy, stirring frequently.

  Add pumpkin to syrup. Simmer over low heat until pumpkin
  is tender and glazed. Cool slightly for several min.
  Arrange on platter; sprinkle with walnuts and cinnamon.

  Yields: 6 Servings
