There's very little if not nothing that hasn't been
said before. I'm surprised though that it's not been
trademarked.

Quick is so stable it might as well be dead.

The world is becoming less and less a nightcrawler place,
which is bad for me. I'd be happiest in a city with good
wee-hours transportation and restaurants, but there aren't
any. I know there are various cities that claim never to
sleep, New York for example, but in reality they become
sad shells of themselves after 1 or 2 at night. Singapore
comes closest in my experience, but after midnight the
non-English speakers come out, because they are the ones
who work third shift. And the MTR doesn't work then
(though cabs are relatively cheap).

Though I speak with the tongue of angels and have not
truth, I am nothing. There are many useless sites out
there, and the greatest of these is Yelp.

2 oz potato vodka
4 oz tomato juice
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 oz Arak
1 ts white horseradish
6 dr Texas Pete
3 dr Fee Brothers Old Fashioned Cocktail Bitters (no corn syrup)
1 ds salt
1 ds pepper
6 in carrot stick for garnish

Fill a burgundy glass with ice. Combine ingredients in dry
shaker. Shake until well-mixed, then pour into ice-filled
glass. Garnish with carrot stick.
