We got some major wind damage and 3 deaths in the state from the system.
Two, one in Chapel Hill, other in western part of the state, were from
trees falling on them; 3rd was from electrocution. The major part of the
system blew thru fast but was quite ferocious. Power is still out in
some areas.

Time to revise your travel route? The chef that's cooking the Farm to
Table meal in a couple of weeks was at the market today, with a
ratatouille he made from ingredients bought on site and sausage made at
the restaurant. Samples of both were good. Headed over to Wal-Mart after
for a couple of things, met Jason Ellis (winner of a season of "Hell's
Kitchen"). Tried his shrimp-pineapple skewers; good! Steve was wearing
his "US Army, Retired" ball cap so they got to talking--found out he was
in Berlin the same time we were, when the wall came down.

Yes, I saw a Sag Harbor suit over there today but it was the wrong size
(too big); would have fit me a year ago. (G)

-> I know, sigh! But, it's not as if they're not available at all. Go into
-> most any grocery store on the Friday/Saturday before Easter and try to
-> find a carton of eggs--almost impossible.

 RH> Unless you get the brown ones.  They're common here and no one dyes

You would be surprised--parents who forgot or waited to the last minute
will grab any egg in sight, no matter what color.
