Ah, I think you've put your finger on part of it. "Directed
at" is an important factor. And "some person" - I kind of
enjoy jokes (guiltily sometimes) that are directed to a
group - whether deserving (lawyers) or undeserving (Guineas).

Some judge humour based on its intent, but I find that far
too much is cruelty-based, whether it's meant to be that way
or not.

Perhaps the libel exception for public figures should be
analogized regarding humor as well, I don't know.

And yet there is so much bullying (or would-be bullying)
in the comic strips as well, when the humor leaves the

One could just buzz by the offal tray when looking for
other kinds of chicken just to see if they are ever there.

Zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and mint 
Categories: Italian, starter
Serves: 3

h - For the stuffed zucchini flowers
7 oz zucchini flowers
9 oz ricotta
mint leaves to taste
4 ts extra-virgin olive oil
salt and white pepper to taste
h - For the tomato sauce
4 oz ripe tomatoes
3 ts extra-virgin olive oil
basil to taste
salt and white pepper to taste

Place the ricotta in a bowl and season with the
finely chopped mint, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Wash the zucchini flowers, remove their pistils
and stuff them with the ricotta.

Steam stuffed flowers for about 3 min. Remove
the seeds and skins from the tomatoes, cut into
cubes, then mix vigorously with the basil,
olive oil, salt and white pepper.

On one side of each serving dish, place lettuce
seasoned with olive oil, salt and white pepper.
Lay stuffed flowers next to the lettuce. Garnish
with the tomato sauce.
