I don't eat a lot of bread - except as sammiches or as garlic bread to soak up
red gravy from over-sauced pasta. If I am at a buffet I won't go near the
bread(s), including French Toast, pancakes, toast, etc. The sole exception
being cinnamon rolls - and only one of those in deference to my
extra-sweetness.

I don't either - I have had tough/chewy ground beef patties - but, I wrote that
off to the binders used.

ALDI has decent quality (superior in some cases) merch. They are beginning to
have fresh meat at my local examples - although I am not thinking of switching
from my favourite butchers down Humphrey's Market.

He still wrote entertaining stories. Evergreen, even.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Evergreen Mint Punch
 Categories: Five, Beverages, I scream, Booze, Candy
      Yield: 8 servings

    1/2 ga Vanilla ice cream; softened
           - + more for scoops
      4 c  Milk
      1 c  Green creme de menthe
           Candy canes (opt - garnish)

  In a punch bowl, combine 1/2 gallon ice cream, milk, and
  creme de menthe; stir until it reaches a pourable
  consistency.

  Make scoops of vanilla ice cream and float on punch.

  Serve immediately, garnished with Candy Canes, if desired.

  Makes 8 servings
