Of course, that could be part of the problem... both fall far short
anyway...  ;)

Reminiscent of Garrison Keillor's sketch about which instrument(s) would
be considered proper for a Lutheran... ended up pretty scanty...

As well they should...  I'm thinking that the R(och)PO had a significant
number of women as early as the late '60s... ranging throughout the
orchestra, strings, winds, percussion, as well as harp...  back then
there wasn't anyone in the brass (other than French horn, which sits
with the winds, of course) or playing double bass...  Even that has
changed some nowadays...  :)

That, and the "backrows" of the violins, violas and cellos, had the
highest concentration of women back in the 60's when I first was
attending RPO concerts...  :)

Hmmm... I think I've run into fake cheese food that is white-ish... of
course, maybe that was real cheese food powder... (G)
