Good thing you got it squared away and they were willing to send you a
new card to not your home address. It would have been lost in that
house! We've just stopped using compromised ones, once they've been
ID'ed as such and had the new ones mailed to our home address.

No problems on this last trip to. Made a quick trip up to NY. We circled
around Baltimore on 270 and stopped at a place called Chubby's Southern
Style Barbeque (outside of Emmitsburg) for lunch. They were featuring
burnt ends so Steve tried it--chunks of meat about an inch long, inch
and half or so wide on a bun. He gave me one; they would have been
better chopped up and sauced. I had the pulled pork sandwich--very moist
& delicious but a red (tomato based, sweet) sauce on top of it. Next
time (and we will go back) we'll not order the burnt ends, I'll ask for
mine with sauce on the side. Huge kaiser type rolls so I only ate half
of my roll. We both ordered cole slaw--finely chopped stuff, not the
best cole slaw nor the worst we've ever had but we'll probably choose
different sides next time.

The Penn. Dutch are German extraction but I don't know if funnel cakes
were made over there or not. I'd have to do some research.


Side note--check your message to Nancy from May 10 (?) where you talk
about taking care of the dog and cats. You gave Steve and me a good
laugh in your description of the incontinent dog.
