Ärende: just an update

Hi Hap,

Good to "see" your face again.

 HN> Just a pop in to give everyone an update. Anne is still getting Cancer

I'd heard bits and pieces but not being on Facebook, hadn't gotten the
full story. Rough going! Our prayers are with you & Anne.

Such fun! Boys at that age are still learning how to sit still so she's
had quite the challenge there.

Not what you wanted to hear but to knock out the cancer, it's got to be
done.

Tough choice but it gives you some time to get out and enjoy some
baseball. From what I've seen, the Ms are doing better this year than
they've been the last few years.

We're not doing anything much fancy, just filling, ourselves. Still in
Wake Forest, Steve had back surgery in April of last year (graduated
seminary in December, 2012) to fuse the L4 & L5 vertabrae. Got thru that
OK and had a stroke in January. It basically just affected his vision
but testing showed he'd had one while on active duty in 2004, while we
were in HI. He just got the OK to drive at the beginning of the month so
we made a quick trip to see my parents as all of my siblings were there,
first time since 2000. Mom & Dad are aging, don't know how much longer
we'll have them with us.

 HN> face book for about 10 minutes in the am and a couple of minutes
 HN> during the day and that's about it these days.

I understand; I've not gotten into FB as it would take time away from
other things. I'm active in a Quilts of Valor group; we'll be back at
the local farmer's market this week.
