We had some before that.  Jim Bodle brought some to a picnic, but I
don't recall which one.  I think that the 8 and 10 year olds are over
the hill:-}}

I don't know if I've ever had fresh oregano, but we really appreciated
that rosemary you brought once.  You could make little care packages for
folks to take home:-}}

I'm not too sure about this recipe.  It has been a long time since we
have had any canned salmon -- back to college days.  Perhaps cooked
fresh salmon would work?  The other problem in finding something for you
in this section of my seafood extraction is that they either had too
high a carb count or a cup of wine or sherry extract (whatever that is).


MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: SUPERB SALMON LOAF
 Categories: Low-fat, Seafood, Main dish
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
     14 oz Can salmon
      2    Eggs, beaten
      2 sl White or WW bread, crumbled
    2/3 c  Nonfat milk powder
    3/4 c  Water
    1/2 c  Minced green pepper
      1 tb Minced onion flakes
      1 ts Lemon juice
      1 tb Plus 1 ts margarine, melted
    1/2 ts Celery salt
    1/2 ts Grated lemon peel
    1/4 ts Pepper
    1/2 ts Parsley flakes
    1/4 ts Dried basil
    1/4 ts Dry mustard
 
  Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix
  well with a fork. Pour mixture into a 4X8 nonstick loaf pan, or one
  that has been sprayed with a nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 1 hour,
  or until top of loaf is golden.
  
  Per serving: 35g protein, 12g fat, 15g carb., 748mg sodium, 174mg
  chol., 308 calories.
