Ärende: Mother's day dinner

Looking at the list of books my brother sent out--his claims, my one
sister's claims, and my other brother's claims, I've had a few surprises
in who wants what. Some, I thought would get claimed fast, nobody has
wanted. Still have to get out our list but have to get Steve's help in
setting up a spread sheet format.

We didn't want a home birth. We were supposed to have gone up to New
Bern to hear a guest pastor, followed by a pot luck dinner. Missed out
on both counts. The pastor's wife called the hospital just after Deborah
was born so the nurse told her that I'd had the baby, no other details,
and to call back in a bit. She called back while everybody was eating so
she could make the announcement to all. (G)

I think most places generally try to do the promos on Saturdays, with
the exception of places like Costco. They have several promos every day,
more so on week ends. You could have a whole meal on promos there! (G)

Both Steve and I were raised with our moms doing varients of the
marinade. It's a family favorite--after Robert was born, my sister and
her family came over to Rachel's one night with some chicken, ready to
put on the grill.
