And then there are the much more essentially "one-of-a-kind" items like
those...  :)   I have some copies of books of (adult) Sunday School
lessons that my great-grandfather wrote... there was a whole series of
them, but they were a fairly limited production, I believe... not likely
to be found just anywhere...  :)

Your great-grandfather's poems?  or the box of books in general...?

Sometimes you just have to be there at the right time.  :)

I don't know why not...  It might need a little more water added, but,
as it's cooked at a a low oven heat, the brown rice should absorb enough
of the fluids by the time it was all cooked.  When I cook my chicken and
(brown) rice on the stove, by the time the chicken is cooked, so is the
rice... and vice versa...  :)   The whole idea of the dish was that it
would cook while one was away, and not be likely to burn to a crisp if
the preaching was overly long...  ;)  We didn't have it every Sunday,
but it was a fairly frequent dish.  :)

I don't remember my parents ever doing anything grilled...  But I can
see where that would make sense...  :)
