Okey Dokey. I got 50 Bonus Points on my last turn in our game. So, I fired up 
new ones with you and issued a challenge to Legz.

I know. WBGO in Newark, NJ is on a few of my confusers and on my AluraTek 
internet radio. But, the laptop allowed me to listen to my own station and to 
keep up with what I've been doing WRT conversations, etc. on mailing lists and 
that sort of thing.

One of the stations I used to support has gone over to the yakkity-yack stuff. 
Oddly they still stream their jazz programming over the internet ... but, I 
can't get it on my AluraTek radio. So, I quit supporting them with $$$. Which 
has caused a number of plaintive e-mails asking why? And some rather acid 
replies expressing my disgust at their pandering.

The actual pains and aches have gone away by now. Although, the lower jaw is 
still tender. But, it has only been a week and that *WAS* a major insult to my 
gums.  Bv)=

I go tomorrow (Thursday) to get some more teeth pulled. At the dentist's 
office this time. One more trip after that and I will be able to pull off a 
Gabby Hayes impression.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Jellied Consomme'
 Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Wine, Dairy
      Yield: 5 servings

      4 c  Beef broth *
      1 sm Onion; chopped
    1/2 md Bell pepper; chopped
      1 tb Snipped fresh parsley
      1 ts Worcestershire sauce
      2 tb Dry sherry
      2 tb Water
    1/4 oz Envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c  Heavy (whipping) cream
    1/4 ts Curry powder (opt)

  In saucepan combine beef broth, onion, green pepper,
  parsley, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to boiling.
  Reduce heat; simmer uncovered, for 15 minutes to reduce
  liquid slightly (it should measure 3 to 3 1/2 cups).
  Strain mixture, discarding vegetables. Return the strained
  broth to saucepan.

  In small bowl combine sherry and water; sprinkle gelatin
  over liquid and let stand to soften gelatin. Stir gelatin
  mixture into broth; heat and stir till gelatin dissolves.
  Pour into large bowl. Chill till set.

  BEFORE SERVING: Whip cream and curry powder just to stiff
  peaks. Break up consomme with a fork; spoon into serving
  dishes. Top each serving with a dollop of the whipped
  cream.

  * If using homemade beef broth, be sure that you clarify
  the broth before preparing this recipe.

  Makes 4 to 6 servings
