It really is an interesting city to explore. Lots of good places to eat;
we didn't even begin to cover all of them. Not many supermarkets but a
lot of small stores. That may have changed as it's been over 20 years
since we came back but I remember only one supermarket type store in our
general area of travel. Of course we had the commissary but there were a
lot of things it didn't carry so I'd hit up the supermarket or some of
the small stores.

 store had them marked one price on a shelf, rang them up a dollar
 higher, and by law here had to refund the whole price.

Good deal! I hit up the farmer's market yesterday, not only for the
week's veggies but also for stuff to make salsa (tomorrow) and cucumber
relish (Tuesday into Wednesday).  Stephen also wants some tatzki; I've
enough cucumbers to do that as well.
