On the other hand, unless you order it, it might not be on the menu for
the next person that might have been inclined to order it, so they'd
never get the chance....  ;)

In our case, we'll probably be the loyal coterie that show up from the
beginning and help him hit his stride, and then stick around to enjoy it
when things actually gel well, and so on... Hasn't opened yet... he told
Richard that there are still some things that need doing first... he
wants things to be as perfect as possible beforehand, since he knows
that once he opens, there won't be time to deal with things at all...
(Since the new place is right across from the BJ's entrance where we
get our gas, Richard's been stopping in to check on things periodically)
Hopefully he'll have it all together before our son leaves the area
again... they got to be pretty good friends back when our son was
bartender for Arigato and Fu was sushi chef there....  The kid is around
until early September (well, up at the Pond anyway mostly) at which
point he plans to head out for the Med to look for a fall boat job...
