He'll have to learn some new tricks. I suspect he lived off of frozen
dinners, canned soups, take out and (some) eat out, probably fast food.
Don't know for sure but he never was one for doing much of anything in
the line of cooking.

Only if his dietician and doctor really hammer home the need to do
better. Don't know how badly the stroke affected him--he might qualify
for something like Meals on Wheels which would give him a decent basic
meal.

They're planning on checking out Korean restaurants in the Charlotte
area. One family that was in our church here is now pastoring a
congregation (don't recall if it's Korean or Chinese) in Charlotte so
that will help.

Looks fancy, but good. We did eggplant parm tonight, eggplant from the
farmer's market. There's enough for another meal, plus we put another
dish (2 meals worth) in the freezer. About a dozen slices of breaded
eggplant rounds went in as well. I asked Steve if we would be cooking as
fancy as much if we didn't have a dishwasher and he said "probably" but
I'm not as sure--clean-up is a bear sometimes, even with one.
