I would think that cashew milk can be made the same way almond milk it.
We've never done it but might give it a try. I think that nuts with the
fruit, cream and cake might be a bit of a disconnect because they're
hard in texture and everything else is soft and/or creamy.

Not responding hardly at all. Basically, the lights are on, but nobody
is home. Dad has become more aware of it too.

We let her know each time we are leaving. She doesn't react with us,
don't know if she does with Dad or not.

Dad is still mostly alert but the major doses of pain med he's on do fog
him out somewhat. Mentally, tho, he's in much better shape than Mom but
his body is much frailer.

Depends on the balloon bread--store bought stuff can stay on the shelf
but my home made (somewhat taller, neither dense not balloon,) could be
chosen over a definately dense loaf. A taller loaf means you can fit
more BLT filling (or whatever filling you chose) into a sandwich.

He wouldn't say so but I think he would appreciate it. He's helping shut
down the local Boy Scout camp this week end, then will try to square
away my older brother's affairs.
