Eff the water - what I am looking for is how much of the weight of solids is
sugar. I don't know why others can't see what it is I am talking about. See my

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Oot-Fray Oops-Lay Cookies
 Categories: Cookies, Desserts, Snacks
      Yield: 36 cookies

  2 1/4 c  Sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2 c  Butter
      1 c  Sugar
      1 lg Egg
      1 ts Vanilla, lemon or orange
           - flavouring
      2 c  Kellogg's Froot Loops cereal
           - crushed to crumbs

  Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small mixing bowl.
  Set aside.

  Beat butter and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add egg and
  vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix
  thoroughly.

  Divide dough into 3 portions; roll each portion on waxed
  paper into 11" X 6" rectangles. Sprinkle each portion
  evenly with about 3 tablespoons cereal; top with waxed
  paper and gently press crumbs into dough. Chill 15
  minutes.

  Remove top sheet of waxed paper. Roll dough up tightly,
  beginning at narrow side. Pinch edge to seal. Roll in
  remaining cereal. Wrap each roll in waxed paper covering
  ends so dough will not dry out; chill until firm or
  overnight.

  WHEN READY TO BAKE: Slice about 1/8" thick; place on
  ungreased baking sheets.

  Bake at 375oF/190oC about 11 minutes or until golden
  brown.
