My thought was that cashews are a good deal softer than almonds, so
might 1) not necessarily work as well in making the milk and 2) might
not seem to out of line for the trifle...  :)

Slipping away.  Inevitable, but hard to watch....

Oh, I always let her know when I was leaving, the point here was that I
wasn't really leaving, she just thought I was... I probably had said
something like I'll be right back, but she might not have heard it...  I
usually also had to introduce myself to her at the beginning of each
visit, too...  She did seem to always retain that somehow I was family,
if not exactly who... and her concept of her own "age" made it hard to
conceive of the real relationship for her.

Also very hard to watch....

As you say, your homemade isn't really balloon bread... the store
boughten stuff more likely so...  :)   Taller loaves are better for
sandwiches, denser ones for other purposes...  :)

Probably somewhat of a thankless task...  Hopefully older brother will
appreciate the help....  I did pass along the requests for both brothers
to my church, so there's some support there...  :)
