JG> O.k. Crazy Question, but consider when each of you went to the
JG> Texas Roadhouse.... I see RH says it was on a Friday, Nancy was yours
JG> on a Wednesday, Thursday, or a Sunday? The day of the week may play a
JG> super important role in what time they get busy!

Actually we were talking about two different restaurants that the
Hafflys had recently visited... :) I've only been to TR once, on a
Sunday (early afternoon), and as I'd expected, it was somewhat busy...
I was more drawing on overall experience with a broad spectrum of
restaurants than on any particular one with the same place(s) as they'd
been to... I agree with you that the day of week can make a difference
in when the busy periods might be, though... :)

JG> From working at vaious restraunts in two different states, one thing I

JG> some strange reason I started seeing my friends there more often, and
JG> they started scheduling me to work just about every wednesday night!
 JG> Funny how that worked....

Depends on the church crowd... and their schedule... Nice that your
friends were able to make a difference in your treatment at that
particular place, too... :)

JG> Sundays are a different sort of crowd and different
JG> time. They usually get out around noon and around 7pm I believe....
JG> Around noon, they generaly just want dessert, or a light snack while
JG> killing time in between church....

Again, that depends on the church crowd, and somewhat on the particular
restaurants... If I recall correctly, your working experience at
restaurants has been with fast-food establishments... I can see that
happening there.. :)

We tend to go out for dinner (often some sort of Asian, and usually
buffet, but not brunch) after morning church, and when we were also
going out after the evening service, it was more for a snack or ice
cream... :) Somewhat a variation of how I was brought up, with the big
meal at home on Sunday after we got home from church, and then only some
sort of light supper/snack after evening church, since it was getting
late and kids needed to get to bed for school the next morning... :)

JG> Now Friday and Saturday nights, you usually will find a rush of
JG> people around 2AM-3AM in the morning, after the bars chased them out
JG> that are hungry and trying to get food into their system after
JG> they've already had too much to drink (should have worked the other
JG> way around, but they're not the smartest bunch...)

No... whatever would have given you that idea... (G) They probably
turned up their noses at the bar food offerings, too... ;) Of course,
that rush of post-bar patrons wouldn't be happening at restaurants that
had already closed before the bars did.. :)
