That's all well and good if one believes in pop-medicine or in Pop-Docs. For
every Dr. Oz type there are three or more real physicians who will declare him
a rhinestone-studded, rhodium-plated liar.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Korean Barbecued Meatballs (Atkins Diet)
 Categories: Meatballs, Beef, Vegetables, Appetisers
      Yield: 20 meatballs

      1 lb Lean ground beef
    1/3 c  Minced green onions; (I used
           - bell pepper)
    1/4 c  Chopped onion
      3 tb Soy sauce
      2 tb Sesame seeds; toasted
      1 tb Splenda or equivalent
      1 ts Oil

  Combine beef, onion, soy sauce, sesame seeds, Splenda and
  oil in a medium bowl. Shape meat mixture into 1" balls.

  Transfer to a jelly roll pan; cover and refrigerate for an
  hour. (Instead of the above, I browned the balls lightly
  in a skillet and then put them in a 9" X 9" glass pan,
  poured the BBQ sauce which I had made first, over the
  meatballs, and let them marinade in the fridge for most of
  the day. I then baked them, covered all but the last 10
  minutes, for 45 min at 350oF/175oC. They're wonderful and
  would be great for company too if you made more of them.

  Soak 20 wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes. Prepare
  grill or preheat broiler. Thread 2 meatballs on each
  skewer, then grill over medium coals for 5 to 6 minutes
  per side or until meatballs are cooked through.

  Serve immediately.

  Makes: Approx 20 appetizers
