==============
-> I'll have to try a true gumbo some time then. What is the reasoning for
-> eggs to be in it?
Makes the gumbo last longer... Feeds more people and helps to have
left overs for the next day.... Especially when cooked in a large 3-4
ft tall boiling pot that's probabl 2-3 ft wide round...

-> Can you put in any higher wattage bulbs? We've got daylight bulbs in
-> most of our fixtures that aren't florescent; I think the only
-> incandescent ones are in the bathrooms. The wattage isn't any higher but
-> the difference in lighting is amazing! I like having the natural light
-> bulbs, especially in the kitchen and in my sewing room--I can see the
-> true colors of either the hunk of meat I'm going to cook or match the
-> thread to fabric with a much greater accuracy.

When we first moved in the trailor, I'd jump on the chance to change
every bulb out to 100watts. But, combination of knowing an electrician
tell me that anything over 60 watts in a fixture that is close to the
ceiling risk catching the ceiling on fire. Any bulb over 60 watts in a
lamp with a lamp shade risk catching the lamp on fire... Then there's
the fact that in the process of being an extra class amateur radio
operator, I learned lots of formulas for calculating watts, amps, etc..
Combine that with when the electrician we paid made the wiring WORSE
than it was, and I had to go behind him and painfully figure out what he
did, fix it, to get the lights on in my office.... (boy was my wife mad
when she realized what he did!) He messed up the lights and said we
needed to re-wire the whole trailer... All I had to do is unhook the one
switch he thought he fixed and re-wire it properly and gosh darn it, the
rest of the house had power! Unfortuantly, what I discovered in the
process of finding what breaker controlled what...

1. Master bath, master closet, master bedroom, retreet in the master
bedroom, ceiling fan in living room, and outdoor lights on one 15 amp
breaker.

2. Utility room, den, 1/2 of kitchen on another 15amp breaker.
3. kitchen light over sink, dining room, living room plugs, office plugs
and light, and back bedroom light on another 15 amp breaker.
4. other back bedroom and bathroom next to it on another 15 amp breaker.

The stove has its own breaker, the ice box and 1 outlet I think on
another 15 amp breaker.

My wife sews in the den where I play the xbox and sometimes the kids
watch tv, sometimes one of the boys puts his xbox next to mine and plays
on another tv. We've got 1 window air conditioner, 3 TV's total, her
serger, straight stich, and embroidery machine, her laptop, 2 xboxes, 1
router used as a switch to provide internet splitting to two xboxes and
a raspberry pi, the raspberry pi, sometimes my laptop.... My cell phone
charger, and a USB charger going to my turtle beach head phones so the
wife can hear the tv. Whew! When she turns on the iron, all it trips
the breakers, so she's learned to go to the dining room to iron!

I really want to know why the heck some moron would wire 2 rooms on 1 15
amp breaker then run about 5 rooms on another 15 amp breaker! Had they
not been so cheap, they'd wired EACH ROOM to a seperate breaker! Now
with that in mind... Would you dare recommend adding another light, or
increasing the wattage to any bulb in any room of the house? Strangely
enough, the trailor lost power the other night temporarly during the
rain and it kicked back on. When it turned back on, I heard a click in
the utility room. It tripped the breaker to the girls room and the
bathroom next to it. She only had her TV, cable box, and air
conditioner on. Why did IT trip, when I had my Xbox, TV, and the son
had his Xbox and TV on, and was watching TV in the den. Our lights came
back on immediately and didn't trip... Go figure!
