That's when one has an early early supper... we often find that if we
eat a meal mid-afternoon, it will do instead of supper... then one only
need the midafternoon-type snacks for the evening..  ;)

Yeah, I remember you telling about that before..   ;)  It IS possible to
get things too hot.. (G)   Most Sloppy Joes I've been served haven't
been spiced up, just hamburger meat in tomato sauce, pretty much... only
mild spicing if any...  Sounds like you do yours more like a chili as a
matter of course..   :)

Could be, I suppose...  Trying for a bean-less chili, and at a heat
level that they can take... although one really should have at least a
pinch of cbili powder in the batch to call it chili..  ;)

I don't think it was from a big factory, or came from a can.  It
probably was just their version..  The chunks of hamburger meat were too
large and uneven to have come from a processing plant, and tasted too
fresh..  ;)  Also more meat than anything else... it was really thick
with the ground meat..   :)   And yes, it was something for lunch that I
hadn't had to prepare and bring with me...  :)
