The guy bragged about having molten lava burning holes
in his protective outlet. How goofy is that.

It is the vegetarian vs. nonvegetarian Buddhists who
contend in this particular arena. We have this notion
that they don't eat flesh, but in reality they're all
over the menu from vegans to meatarians like me. The
middle ground is those who say that it's okay to eat
meat if you didn't kill the animal yourself or have
the animal killed for your benefit - it's okay to eat
something that someone else has commissioned to have
slaughtered, though, which strikes me as dubious at
best and perhaps on the hypocritical side. And weird,
as it posits and requires the existence of enough
infidels to sustain the butchery business.

Not quite so nebulous, though almost. One can presume there
were eyewitnesses to the Buddha's last meal, as he and it
were visible to the naked eye.

Dave's Rice Milk
categories: beverage
yield: 46 oz

46 oz water
1 c rice flour
1/2 ts salt or salt substitue
1/4 c canola oil
3 Tb (to 4) demerara sugar or regular sugar

Now I wanted something faster.

That's when I decided to use rice flour instead
of whole rice grains. I don't have a grain mill,
and obviously my blender is not the right tool
for grinding rice. After some trial and error,
I have a recipe now that works beautifully, and
is proportioned to the 46-oz juice bottles that
I use to store the milk.

Combine all ingredients in a blender and whirl
on high speed for 8 to 10 min. Pour through a
nut milk bag, carefully squeezing out all the
liquid you can from the bag.

Shake well before serving; serve chilled.

This turns out the most awesome homemade rice
milk of all, much cheaper than buying the
commercial stuff.
