I've still got 32000 miles left in the works this year, most
of it on one giant trip to see Glen Jamieson and his wicked
cohorts.

That's the rub, isn't it.

I have a Cessna flight booked for the end of this month, and
it's free; unfortunately subsequently Lilli has asked me to
join her on a ride from San Jose to Pacific Grove at the same
time, plus I'll have to split gas. Tough decision.

Of course. And the flight I mention below will be 14 1/2 hr,
whereas it would have taken him 5 days on the earliest
flights or over 2 weeks on an ocean liner.

As part of that 32000 miles will be in the brand-new 787-900
(first commercial flight was a week ago - I've not been on it
yet, though I was a tour guest, did not fly, in the prototype
787-800 four days before it was grounded for electrical faults),
likely in business, yeah.

Grilled chicken Ras el Hanout with yogurt drizzle
categories: poultry, main, Moroccan
Serves: 4

h - For the chicken
1 1/2 Tb salt
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 c honey
1/4 c fresh lemon juice
1 Tb lemon zest
1 c olive oil
2 Tb Ras El Hanout (Moroccan spice)
4 chicken breasts (6 to 8 oz each) with leg
1/4 c chopped mint, roughly chopped
3 Tb cilantro, roughly chopped
2 Tb Italian parsley,roughly chopped
h - For the drizzle
1 c yogurt
2 Tb honey
2 Tb chopped mint
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all marinade ingredients with chicken. Marinate as
long as possible (up to 48 hr). Grill to desired doneness.

Combine all drizzle ingredients and serve with chicken.
