Getting a large family out the door on a Sunday morning was always quite
the feat in itself... feeding them breakfast as well beforehand wasn't
always possible... hence the raisin bread in the car... especially if we
had to drive a distance.

 ->  RH> Liver isn't strange, but if it's strong it's a little tough to eat. 
 -> We probably had liver and onions (pressure cooked) at least once a
 -> week... I guess the pressure cooking kept it from getting too tough, and
 -> the s&p and onions covered some of the taste...  :)  When I got on my

 RH> Good idea.  I was never able to get into cow's liver.  Fried chicken

I grew up with mostly just beef liver, except for if we had the whole
chicken or turkey complete with giblets, then there might be the taste
of chicken or turkey liver.  :)  It didn't seem too strong a taste for
me... although, when I tried pork liver as an adult, that DID seem too
strong a taste...   :)

 RH> Try never.  I didn't get it until I was an adult.

Well... there's probably the answer right there...  As we were saying,
what you grow up with as a child, you rarely think strange...  (G)
