One can follow it - but one wouldn't take it of one's
own initiative.

Something called supraventricular tachycardia, which
he reads (from Wikitruth) for a change as more harmless
than I do.

I believe that the origin of the experiment was in an
episode of overeating immediately before some cardiac-style
discomfort. It wasn't wholly an irrational experiment, but
rather the setting seemed to maximize rather than minimize
potential problems. Eating like a pig at home would strike
me as being safer.

That's interesting. Maybe some of the lunch custom will
engender better dinnertime numbers as well.

How much can you make on such a special?

It is, but as with various artichoke dishes, it has been
associated with the Jews for reasons I don't know.

Yep.

Hot Honey Lemon Tea
cat: Jewish, holiday, break fast, beverage
servings: 4

1 1/2 qt boiling water
4 lemons, juice of (about 1/2 c)
1/2 c honey, or more to taste

Combine the water, lemon juice, and honey in a teapot
or heatproof pitcher. Stir until the honey is dissolved.
Pour into mugs and serve.

This restorative tea is soothing after fasting or any
time you need a pick-me-up. Add a few mint leaves to
the teapot if you like for a Moroccan touch.
