And then the challenge is deciding how badly you want or need that
something...  Sounds like you may be living out of open boxes for a
little while, at least for some things...  ;)

I'll eat German potato salad hot or cold, but I like it warm better,
too...

Maybe they didn't know how to get it more authentic...  Probably better
to stick with what you know they do well, though... Of course, if you
are jonesing for German, and not-quite will satisfy, it's still a place
to keep in mind...
