Try gluten first, then guar gum if you're not happy with the results
with the gluten. But remember that most authenticrye bread is dense and
doesn't rise much anyway so it's not a disaster to have a short loaf.

And it's open, right off the living room so there's no way it can be
shut off. Sewing room will be a disaster until I get things organised
the way I want; that's a "given".

Depends on how things are going with the family. His dad is half way
thru his chemo, don't think his step mom has begun treatment.
