We'll see what happens. As I am no longer in substantially
better shape than Lilli and can't really be useful as her
protector, we are talking about dialing down to places that
have first-world medical facilities or at least speedy
medevac (for which we'd need additional insurance) - so for
now, the far north reaches are out. For example, our Singapore
and Manila trip might be altered to Singapore and Bangkok or
Pusan (I know you're all crying for me).

What kind of response does she get? And what happens to the
graduates - do they return to the community or head off
elsewhere to make their fortunes?

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04

      Title: Nasi Briyani (Briyani Rice)
 Categories: Indonesian, Asian
      Yield: 2 Servings

    3/4 c  "Ideal" evaporated milk
    3/4 c  Water
      2 tb Lime juice or vinegar
    700 g  Chicken or 2 breasts
    1/3 c  Beef oil or cooking oil
      4 cl Garlic
      4    Sticks green pepper *
      7    Whole cloves
      5    Cm cinnamon sticks
      1    "Maggi" chicken stock cube
      2 c  Rice
      1 ts Ginger
           A little bit hot water

  Mix together evaporated milk, water and lime juice.  Stir and put in
  the table for about 10 min.  Mix chicken and 1 ts salt, then put
  in the dish.  Pour milk mixture in the dish and put in the fridge for
       20    min.
   Heat beef oil in the wok and add garlic, stir it till golden brown.
  Add green pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cummin, and ginger, stir them for
  2 - 3 min till smell nice.  Add chicken and turmeric, cook till
  chicken tender.  Take out chicken,  Add +2.5 cups water and chicken
  cube stock to the wok.  Cook/boil rice with this mixture.  Put rice
  in the plate and make hole, then put chicken inside the hole.  Serve
  hot.

  [* Note: This is not black pepper, but is possibly the pepper stick
  used to chew with betel nut.  Black pepper would probably do at a
  pinch.]
