Didn't see the article... haven't been reading any papers lately, either
online or in print... I can see where that could be the point where one
could break... where the course load and the practicums can become more
overwhelming...  Most of my experience has been with residents that were
with a Family Medicine practice that MJ was a patient of.  She'd get a
new resident every 3 years or so, so we got to train a number of them...
Most of them were inclined to be open-minded, thankfully.  Not always
the case with the residents in hospital, however...

If they were kicking out the bad germs and not giving grief that would
be more understandable, but from what I've been reading, some of your
symptoms may have been side effects from some of the antibiotics.. :(

That's the point they start talking about piclines and ports,

Sounds like a hospital to me...  ;/  One good(-ish) reason for doing it
IV rather than oral is to spare the already badly irritated digestive
system any of the side effects of the drugs... and to get the meds
in-stream faster...

That is bad, when even the IV SWAT team can't get a proper line in. 
I've been on the helping end of that... holding MJ's arm still so that a
tech could concentrate on the needle and vein...

in...?  ;)

Not a pretty record, to be sure...  Sigh....
