Hello, All.

I don't know if I mentioned this in here, but I am now working in my field.  I
was hired on Halloween at a multinational call center company that has several
campuses (?) across the US and internationally.  I am an enterprise IT
technician at their largest campus in town (they have two here; the company was
founded here years ago but their headquarters are now in Pennsylvania).

I work with three other technicians (one which I went to school with).  We
basically take care of all the computers and networks in the building.  We do
the grunt work of laying on the floor and physically installing/working on
everything.

The pay is good for here, I have benefits available, and I even was given my
own parking space at the front of the building (since we tend to shuttle
equipment back and forth between campuses and storage areas).  I was issued a
brand-new iPhone 5S so I can be reached at any time.

I'll be in training for two to three months learning how the networks and
computers are setup and other minutae that are important for me to know.  My
eventual schedule will be from 10 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday which would
leave to me the responsibility of closing as many work orders as possible after
4 PM; that's the magic hour where a majority of the call center goes home and
it is easier to get to equipment.  We do have agents on the phone until 2 AM
Eastern time though but that is one very small section of the call floor.

I'm very happy with my job so far and I am enjoying it.  Things are starting to
finally turn around for me after all of these years.  I should be able to
attend next year's picnic if all goes well!

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: SUMMER LASAGNA
 Categories: Italian, Cheese, Microwave
      Yield: 6 Servings

      8 oz Can Tomato Sauce
    1/4 ts Basil leaves
    1/8 ts Fresh Ground Pepper
      1 c  Ricotta cheese
      1 ts Parsley
      1 lg Tomato
      1 md Onion, chopped
    1/4 ts Salt, optional
    1/4 ts Oregano leaves
    1/2 c  Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
      3 md Zucchini, about 9-in.long
      2 tb Grated Parmesan Cheese

  1.     Combine tomato sauce, onion, basil, salt, pepper & oregano in
  small mixing bowl; set aside.  In medium bowl, combine ricotta,
  mozzarella and parsley.  Set aside. 2. Peel zucchini and cut off
  ends. Slice zucchini lengthwise into strips. Arrange strips in
  8x8-in. baking dish. Cover with wax paper. 3. Microwave at High for 6
  to 8 minutes, or until fork tender, rearranging after half the time.
  Drain liquid; place zucchini on towels to absorb excess moisure; cool
  slightly. 4. Layer 4 to 6 of the strips in the bottom of baking dish.
  Reserve 6 strips for second layer. Spread ricotta mixture over
  zucchini. Layer with sliced tomatoes. 5. Spread half of tomato sauce
  mixture over tomatoes; top with zucchini slices. Pour remaining sauce
  over zucchini and sprinkle with Parmesan. 6. Reduce power to 50%
  (medium). Microwave uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until zucchini is
  tender and mixture is hot in center.  Let stand 5 minutes before
  serving.
