We usually take 17/86 if going the southern route across NY, other roads
if we want to go thru the central part of the state. Some trips we hit
the Thruway, others we use main roads but not interstate type.

Steve smoked a chicken for supper tonight; it turned out quite well. We
had it with rice and a spinach salad (new recipe, would be better as

Ours goes year round but reduced hours in winter. We got some broccoli,
raw peanuts, a chocolate/cinnamon cake and a couple of whole wheat
cinnamon rolls today.  The spinach came from last week's market, kept
fresh in a green bag.
