I saw the weather reports mentioning another polar blast hitting the north
east, but it's not as bad as the last one we had thank goodness.  More snow
showers are predicted for Sunday though... temps are in the 30's here so it's
darn chilly when you are not used to it :(

I don't think so, sadly enough.  I seem to remember having one of them for ages
but I would guess it might have been lost in one move or another or something
like that.

My pateral grandmother didn't sew or knit or crochet either... as far as I know
at least.

That's nice, I've never owned a Featherweight.  They are very popular though.

That is so fantastic.  Every time I read about diabetic problems I think of you
and how you were able (with much work I'm sure) to get past it. It's really
impressive.

You should have plenty of 'visitors' I expect :)  Hopefully not chomping on
your herbs if you get them in next year.

I understand. One can never tell though...  I was surprised at how long my mom
survived after dad passed away. I think it was about 10 or 12 years.

Sounds like you'll be quite busy :)  How neat.  I'm glad you were able to find
the boxes at the liquor store as well... :)
