Some people would stick with him and think he was next best thing since
sliced bread. (G) Others, like us, one visit is enough to let us know
we need to find a new doctor.

I'm trying to keep all systems working as long as they can. AFAIK, the
only time the pancreas shut down was a couple of years ago. I may have
blown tomrrow morning's reading up way high (calabash style shirmp and
scallops for supper) but it'll settle down again. Today, after a higher
carb than usual meal, my reading was only 90. But, I basically skipped
lunch and had a high protein snack before bed time to help balance
things out.

Like their Christmas pudding, which the one we were given was more like
a fruit cake. I gave a British friend a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving one
year in Berlin; he reciprocated with the pudding.

This would be good for me (if I didn't have too many) but Steve would
take a pass, as a precaution against a migraine. I don't know how many
times I served corn, corn chips, corn bread, etc until we made the
connection but then we stopped having a lot of corn in the house.
