I was thinking something like that. Or one of the
commoner mixes, Chinese with Thai or Filipino or
Indonesian or stuff like that.

I'm not superclear on the roles of genetics and environment

That kind of confuses me - how some player decides that an
enterprise isn't worth its while but still manages to convince
a competitor that it is worth its. I guess Price-Rite might
operate on a lower margin or at a more predatory price point
than Wegmans? Or what.

   When they closed our regular Wegmans, the

Seems semi-fair if a tiny bit inconvenient for customers.

Familiar isn't so important to me as viable. Sounds
viable anyhow.

Which I find both ominous and heartening at the same time, in
that the next generation, no doubt business-school grads,
ignored the human factor but were also encouraged (compelled?)
to correct their viewpoint.

  Title: Ben & Jerry's Sweet Cream Base #2
 Categories: Ice cream, Desserts
   Servings:  1

  2 c  Heavy or whipping cream    2/3 c  Half & half
3/4 c  Sugar

  This simple recipe is made with a minimum of ingredients and requires no
  cooking. It makes a very creamy ice cream with 25% butterfat, but it does
  not store well in home freezers, so be prepared to eat it all!! Pour the
  cream into a mixing bowl. Whisk in the sugar, a lttle at a time, then
  continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 min more. Pour the
  half and half and whisk to blend. Makes 1 quart.
