Or even next to top cat, perhaps...  we took two of the
six, the other being her littermate sister, who seems more
comfortable with being in a top-cat-like position.

Yup, or at least to the restaurants in general..  :) 
Buffets tend to have plenty of it available, too... :)
On the other hand, Fu's tempura isn't very oily, although
I know it's deep-fried... his batter is nice and light, 
and his oil clean and at the right temperature, so the
tempura doesn't take on too much of it.  :)
