If we ate at home there was always turkey although often it was turkey roll,
mashed potatoes, gravy, green salad and assorted raw veggies/olives/pickles.
Also cranberry sauce, cranberry salad, usually a Jell-O salad that we forgot
to put on the table and nobody wanted anyway.  Sometimes there was a dish of
yams with marshmallows on top.  My dad was the only one who ate that.  Brown
and Serve rolls and in later years, King's Hawaiian rolls.  Sometimes there
was also cranberry bread but that might be put out with the desserts.  I
don't really remember much about the desserts since I didn't like them.  My
mom was fond of a frozen carrot cake which she served in a frozen state with
frozen Cool Whip.  Oh and there were always assorted nuts in the shell.
Those were not eaten at the meal but throughout the day.  When Stovetop
stuffing came out, my mom would also serve that but I think I was in high
school by then.  I think she also served canned corn as it was my brother's
favorite.  I don't dislike it but there was so much other food, I didn't
need it.  I mainly at the potatoes and other vegetables.
