I have been a generally law abiding citizen (except for the cardinal
sin of speeding occasionally) but I can say that twice I have been
hassled by police.  I also once asked for police help and might as
well have bayed at the moon, so my opinion of police is in the
basement based on personal experience as a law abiding, citizen, white
too :)
