Yes, we do the same here, with every carton no matter where I buy them.

True :)  Like Steve, I often use the sprayer to give it a good dose of hot
water.

The newer models of the blender come with that attachment (at least the
replacement blender I bought a few years ago had one).  I use it for grinding
ham as well, or sometimes making just a few cups of mayonaisse, etc.  Well, I
did.. now I use that Ninja more often than not :)  I think it's the blade in
the one I have that makes it work so well.. it's a double blade on the stem
that you put in the Ninja container.

I only use olive oil on the cast iron here.. I always have plenty of it (g).  I
use EarthBalance shortening or coconut oil because it's soy free in cooking and
baking.  Generally though Spectrum is great with their products being allergen
free. Their vinegars are fantastic and taste so wonderful.

Not sure, but I think Balsamic would taste good, but wouldn't look right :)
Red/brown mayonaisse might turn some off hehe

We go through a lot of peanut butter here, but I can't always find peanuts in
the shell.  I suppose that had to do with recalls along the way in recent
years, but I'm not sure.  The thing I look for in peanut butter is no added
sugar or oils.. Some natural products list only peanuts in the ingredients,
like smuckers natural peanut butter.

==Best Almond Cookies==
Preheat oven to 350F
Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper

3 Tablespoons butter
1 cup almond flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup dates, chopped or 1/2 cup pecans, chopped parchment paper

In a large bowl, cream the butter until soft. Add the almond flour and sugar. 
Add the flavorings and beaten egg.  Mix well.  Drop by scant teaspoons onto
parchment covered cookie sheets.  Bake 10-12 minutes, don't let the cookies
brown.  Let cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes before removing to a cookie
rack to cool completely.  Store the cookies in an air-tight container. Makes 3
dozen cookies.
