Ok, I'll accept your mediocrity assessment.  (G)  Especially if the meat
was worse than the rice... ;)  I can understand enjoying it despite,
though, with long deprivation...  ;)  The onion rings sound just
wonderful, though.  :)

Sometimes one has to do with what one has...  ;)  Useful that you
enjoyed the beer, having received more than expected...  ;)

I think that Richard rates BK over McD... for some reason he detests the
latter, but he's not keen on either of them...  I'll eat at either, but
it's more a need-to-eat basis...  Below the level of making comparisons.

I don't take being spoiled too seriously... at least not for spoiling
total pleasure in lesser things...  It's more a pleasantry, mostly...
a recognition that it doesn't match the best...  ;)

Perhaps it's a truth that they prefer not to acknowledge now, given a
change in climate, so to speak...  :)

Almond float, I'd help you eat happily... sticky rice with coconut,
perhaps not quite as readily, although if the coconut flavor isn't too
pronounced I'd be ok with it.  :)  A good egg custard or tapioca pudding
is a treat.  :)
