Oh, he did.  He only wanted to live in Phoenix Valley, for other
reasons... as those became less important, the disadvantages were more
apparent...  And also, he decided that it was time to spend some time
nearer to family for a while.  :)

I don't really remember what my family did... I'm guessing that we
either had the desserts later, or only had something like ice cream, if
it was just us...  I wasn't going to Richard's family's Thanksgivings
back then, of course... that started when we were in college, starting
to get serious..  ;)
