Were it a reasonably consistent pinkish, maybe, but
I doubt that red cabbage runs to order.

Someone said that once, I think a physician, not recently,
though. I've had this week in Florida and have slept through
much of it - friend who is a public health doc (and can say
things that regular docs don't) said that she estimated that
it would be 6 months to get back to normal - not what I
particularly want to hear. I basically can't move my arms
without considerable discomfort, pretty weird.

Conflating persons, possibly, insurance fraud on somebody's
part, less likely (they have this identity verification
procedure that borders on the silly). A very remote possibility
is that the hospitalization happened and I lost all memory of
it, so I went and pulled my travel records, and in fact I was
on the road when the procedure was supposed to have occurred.

I rather doubt it, see above, as a matter of patient
malfeasance; and there would be no reason for the hospital
to do a fraud against itself, as it and the insurer are part
of the same company.

I actually have been diagnosed with possible tuberculosis,
self-contained and long in the past - there are old lesions
in my lungs, but the person who found this decided that it
hadn't been an important occurrence, so no fuss was made
about it, and if it were further investigated and became
prominent in my record it might pose problems with my being
admitted to some countries.

Roast chicken
cat: Singapore, main, poultry
servings: 4 to 6

1 Carogold Chicken (1.2 - 1.5 kg)
h - marinade
1 Tb Chinese wine
1 Tb Maggie seasoning
2 Tb Light soya sauce
2 ts MSG
1/2 Tb Salt
3 Tb Water
1 Tb Sugar
2 Tb Ginger juice
1/6 ts 5 spice powder

Marinate the chicken in a ziploc bag and remove the
air by submerging it in a bowl of water.  Leave it to
marinate at least 4 hr or overnight. The next day,
remove it from the fridge and bake it in the oven at
140C until the internal temperature reaches 60C.  If
you don't have a thermometer, you can just poke the
thickest part of the thigh with a skewer to see if
the juices run clear (if it is still bloody, it is
not ready).  This should take 50-90 min depending on
the size of the chicken and your oven.

Once ready, remove the chicken from the oven and
allow it to cool.  Heat 2" oil in a wok or pot and
deep fry the chicken for 1-2 min or until the skin
turns into a beautiful bronze colour. Allow it to
 rest for 15 min before chopping.
