He missed the deadline for getting any good jobs in the Med, so he's
looking for Caribbean jobs this year.  Last year he was mostly in the
Dominican Republic...  Haven't heard yet if he's found one yet... he can
support himself with day jobs on boats and/or picking up some kind of
restaurant job...

Welll.... to everybody but us, probably...  I'd been burnt bad in the
past, and was being extra-specially careful not to just jump into
anything any more... and he was willing to give me all the space I
needed to get there...  :)  Definite permanent-feeling connection, but
not the surety I needed to actually commit for something as serious as
marriage...
