I would not be surprised if canned peach pie filling did not have apple
juice in the mix as a sweetener.  OTOH, there was a picnic here when
Ruth Haffly made a peach cobbler with fresh peaches from a local store.
I'm sure you could have eaten that -- if it did not disappear before you
got any:-}}

      Title: Hamburger Strogonoff Casserole
 Categories: Beef, Casserole, Biscuit, Boat
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      1 lb Ground beef
    1/8 ts Pepper
      1    Cans French Fried Onions
      1    Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1/2 c  Sour cream*
      1    Can Flaky Refrig. Biscuits
 
  Brown and drain ground beef.
  
  Combine soup and sour cream. (*A non-dairy sour cream substitute is
  OK)
  
  In a LARGE casserole, combine the ground beef, pepper and 1/2 can of
  the onions.  Add 3/4 of the soup/sour cream mixture.
  
  Cut biscuits in half to make half-circles.  Stand, cut side down,
  around edge of casserole on top of meat mixture.  Use 4 in center of
  casserole.
  
  Spoon remaining soup/sour cream mixture over biscuits.  Sprinkle
  with remaining half can of French Fried onions.
  
  Bake, uncovered, at 350 F for about 40 minutes, or until top is
  brown and biscuits are done.
  
  This is a very tasty and easy casserole.  It is very filling and
  will feed a good group if doubled.
