That was an interesting film, too...  It came out the year we lived in
Syracuse, just before we got married.. I don't remember now if it was
my first experience with Woody Allen's humor, it might have been...

One learns to cope/defend, even fight back, to emotional as well. 
It can be a bit more subtle than physical...

Most of the cases I've been personally aware of have been youngsters,
particularly a couple of late teens at church a few years ago, one of
which was my nephew... my mom had it when I was in utero, she was only
about 19 herself then...

Indeed scary...  are the complications you had more likely at your age,
perhaps...?

That is somewhat of a nightmare, indeed...  One can only hope it wasn't
some sort of a precog... ;)  Not even any eggplant or onion/garlic...

Speaking of root veggies.... New Year's Eve I was at Lydia's, and she'd
made a venison soup for dinner... it had parsnips in it, a little
different from what one usually gets...  :)  The venison was from a deer
that had hit her car, and she was able to take it home to use the meat.
