============================
Hi Nancy,

RH> Trying to--I found some old sliders so used them to move book shelves

NB> My first mental image was of those little
NB> hamburgers-in-a-little-bun... which quickly resolved into the proper
 NB> type of sliders... :)

Kinda thought, after I typed it, "I hope she knows what kind of sliders
I'm referring to".

RH> in the sewing room into place. Then I unpacked 8 boxes of books and
RH> shelved them. Found a few more kitchen things and put them away too.

 NB> That's good progress, too. :)

But everything is on hold for a bit now.

NB> NB>> It's the buying the fabric part that the maybe was referring
 NB> to... :)

RH> The right one will be found in due time. I'm debating maybe a blue and
RH> yellow (provincial) print (not specific fabric yet) or something else.
RH> I'm also debating if I want to do cafe type curtains or full
RH> ones--I've got a door window, a bay window and a small window over the
 RH> sink to cover.

NB> Depends on how exposed the windows are, and how much sunlight you want
NB> to make its way in through them... ;) I tend to go for minimal
 NB> treatment, myself... :)

Nobody can see in that well but we're off a busy street and headlights
at night come right into the door window. The bay window is big enough
that I want something to diffuse morning sunlight on the breakfast
table. And, as long as I'm making curtains for the other windows, I may
as well finish the job with some for the over the sink window. (G)

NB> stowage yet, only RH>> to have to redo it when other stuff ins found.
NB> NB>> Just enough to be out of the way enough to function... while you
NB> find NB>> the rest of it, and juggle mentally where everything should
 NB> go... ;)

RH> And right now it's in a bit more of a mess as Steve is doing some wall
RH> repair over the stove before putting in the new microwave. All will be
 RH> settled, eventually.

NB> The fun of moving... and the fun of being in the throes thereof...
NB> (G) But doing things in a proper order makes for better settling in
 NB> the long run... ;)

That's what the goal is.

NB> done anything in common to RH>> the best of my knowledge.
NB> NB>> Is there much overlap for the two groups, then...? It sounds
NB> like NB>> they have somewhat different purposes... :) With quilting
 NB> as a
 NB> NB>> common interest, that is... ;)

RH> I don't know why they have the 2 groups at the senior center; it was
RH> an on going thing before I joined the Tuesday group.

NB> Maybe the Wednesday group was the original one, then, and the QofV a
NB> spin-off particularly for doing those projects, and to affiliate with
 NB> the national group... :)

I honestly have no idea. I'll have to ask our co-ordinator.

 NB> RH>> When I'm asleep?
NB> NB>> That probably about sums it up.. (G)

RH> As long as it's sleep like last night's, about 10 hours and only one
RH> during the night wake up. Night before it was about 3 hours, and up
 RH> about 8-10 times.

NB> True, the former (second night) seems more restful. Hopefully your
NB> time up in NY will give you some chance for extra down time, between
 NB> what
NB> needs doing there. Prayers, thoughts and hugs continue... :)

We're doing a good bit here. Last night I slept thru, not even waking up
at all.

NB> RH>> That bit is solved; the tools are cleared away and Steve agrees
NB> that's RH>> the best spot for the cutting board rack. Right under the
NB> cabinet with RH>> dishes and glassware & above the dishwasher.
NB> NB>> That sounds convenient, and appropriate... ;)

RH> There's also a bit more space on the counter top for something else,
RH> as yet undecided what. Very convenient tho, when emptying the
 RH> dishwasher.

NB> Maybe one should (try to) keep it clear, for such purposes...?? ;)

Time will tell, if anything else will end up there.

NB> that. RH>> But, sooner or later, it will be passed on.
NB> NB>> Or maybe you could have her over for a meal, once the dust
 NB> settles a NB>> little... :)

RH> We'll work it out but she will have it eventually.

NB> And it's not like there's a pressing time crunch for it... :)

No, not like it was needed yesterday.

Catch you later,
Ruth
