They were only in our household courtesy of grandparents. We couldn't
afford the toy de' jure either.

And, he sounds like he appreciates his upbringing, tho, like most kids,
probably wasn't as appreciative as he was going thru it. Our girls have
let us know how much they appreciate how we raised them, especially
after they became parents.

We've usually kept celebrations low key, not sure what we'll do this
year. Visit grandkids maybe?

They were available when we walked in, and offered again after practice.
