It's coming along, but I took a day out for my QoV group. Back to the
unpacking tomorrow.

That's why I make some, leave others to experts.

Yes, now that winter is settling in. We're expecing freezing rain in the
area tonight into tomorrow, probably snow in the western part of the
state. Typical January weather.

Dad was/is a picky eater so that she cooked to his tastes. She might
have been a bit more willing to try cooking new things if he were more
willing to eat them. I gave her my MIL's lasagne/meatballs recipe but a
couple of years later, she asked me how to make it. She'd tried putting
the meatballs in with the lasagne, and, it didn't come out as she
thought it should. I made it properly, meatballs on the side, but I
doubt she ever tried it again.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, have to give it a try next time we're in the area.
Was it a really sweet red cabbage or a sweet/sour sort?
