We had a Fuddrucker's here for a bit. It didn't prove viable mostly because of
quality/pricing issues. The owners of the franchise, on folding their tent and
slipping off into the night, blamed "poor location" as the primary reason for
them having thrown their wallet out the window. Oddly the Pasta House Company
in that same building thrived until the owner was offered more money than a
sane businessman would turn down for the corner. Smashburger and 5 Guys are
doing land office business in the same area - so I have to attribute Fudd's
closing to the aforementioned - mostly the (perceived) value for money.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Dirty Dave's Avocado-Smash Burger
 Categories: Beef, Pork, Vegetables, Fruits, Herbs
      Yield: 2 servings

      1 lb Ground chuck
      6 sl Thick-cut bacon; cooked
           - crisp
      1 tb Beef bouillon granules
      2 tb chopped fresh cilantro
           +=OR=+
      2 ts Dried cilantro leaves
      1    Hass Avocado; thin sliced
    1/4 c  Thin sliced red onion
      2    Egg rolls (buns)

  Combine ground beef, cilantro and bouillon in a large
  bowl; shape into 2 patties.

  Grill or broil to desired doneness. Serve on crusty egg
  rolls topped with bacon slices, avocado, and onion.

  NOTES: This is my own reconstruction of the Smashburger
  (R) Avocado Club Burger. I think Smash uses 1/3 lb pucks
  but I likes me beef. Tomato slices optional.
